SUSD completed a new development of two immensely bright and spacious three-bedroom ‘low cost homes’ for families in St Albans.
SUSD detailed the homes to deliberately cut down on the circulation to enable generous room sizes and rationalised construction with energy and water efficient aspects. These features led to lower construction costs, which enabled the provision of accessible and affordable homes for the community.
The homes are detailed in a contemporary European style with large private gardens and on-site car parking. The houses have elegant open-planned kitchens and large living areas, en-suite bathrooms, under floor heating and satellite & FM radio points throughout.
The new homes reinforce the existing street pattern creating adequate and lively street frontage for St Annes Road. The ‘low cost home ownership’ programme helps improve the community, as family homes are a priority.
