Towner Art Gallery,
Eastbourne

The Towner Art Gallery first opened in 1923 in an 18th century manor
house and is highly regarded for its unique programme of major exhibitions
of contemporary and historic visual art alongside works from the renowned
Towner Collection.

After the gallery relocated to a purpose-built new space in 2005, SUSD has acquired the property and is currently investigating opportunities for redevelopment for affordable housing. As Harry is an Eastbourner by birth, this project is close to his heart.
